Charity grew up in Franklin County, Georgia and went on to graduate from Western Carolina University with a BA in Theatre and Communications.
Charity has worked professionally as an actor, singer and dancer where some of her employers include Unto These Hills, The Atlanta Shakespeare Company, Jekyll Island Musical Theatre and Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders.
In 2008 she began teaching theatre at Franklin County High School. Her proudest accomplishments are her three children, Connor, who teaches at FCHS and helps her with the theatre program, Alexandria, who was the 2020 Miss Teen North America, Elijah, who has been traveling the country this summer competing with Drum Corp International, and her first grandchild, Jackson.
Charity is married to Vance Henry, a Georgia State Trooper and a Chief in the Naval Reserves.
